Name's Jake Sparrow. I'm eighteen years old. A pleasure to meet you, I'm sure. I captain a ship around the fine waters that surround this devil of a town. Be assured, I am a loyal captain to both this ship and my crew. Jake Sparrow has been a lover of many women but I've never loved a woman as much as I love this ship. Curious? Want to know more about me? Sorry to disappoint you mates, but I don't give valuable information about my self to just anyone. But, if you buy me enough drinks, I'm sure I'll end up telling you what ever you like. Savvy?

This is an RP blog for the Disney character Captain Jack Sparrow for the A Whole New World- RP. He has been taken from the Disney universe and placed into the real world. He remembers nothing about his previous life but has kept the same personality and mindset of Jack. His name is Jake Sparrow though, for the record.

Amelia nodded and dared move a bit closer to Jake so that their shoulders were touching. “I like you being this age too,” She said. “It suits you. You’re already so immature.” She was getting tired now, but she didn’t want to sleep at all. As a matter of fact, she felt almost electrified by the contact that she was having with Jake.

Jake stepped back, slightly offended. “Knowing how to have a good time is not the same as being immature, Amelia. You should smile more. It suits you.” He smiled at her. They were close to each other now and Jake felt awkward. He wasn’t really sure what he should do. Usually, situations like this only ended in one thing. Without thinking, he leaned in and kissed her. Jake pulled back, expecting her to slap him. “I’m sorry- I don’t know why I did that. The tequila’s at fault.”

Amelia blinked a few times before turning back to Jake. “I’m fine,” She said, almost shocked that he had even asked. She turned back to the ocean and said, “It’s just been a really weird day.” She shook her head and tried to see how far out she could see. The sea sort of transfixed her, and it was hard for her to focus on anything else but how vast it was. Without even realizing it, she reached out and took hold of Jake’s hand.

He smiled to himself when she grasped his hand. Jake didn’t flinch or move away, but clasped tightly onto her hand as well. Jake laughed, “Yes, it’s been a really weird day for us both then. Very very strange- having everyone think I was a thirty-something year old man when I don’t remember a thing.” He shook his head, “I don’t mind though. Whatever the case is, I like being this age.” Jake wanted to comment on how he could be with her if he was this age but restrained himself.

Amelia sat down across from Jake. He was acting a bit weirdly, like… nice… but if it kept them from arguing over his age, she was grateful for it. Never before had she really pursued a friendship like this before, and she had no clue why. Maybe it was because he was one of the only interesting people she had ever met. I mean, a guy who can change his age - that basically revolutionizes the idea of “cool.”

She clinked glasses with him and echoed, “Cheers.”

She took a couple of sips before beginning to feel lightheaded - she was kind of a lightweight - and she put her glass back down on the table. She knew her limits, and right now she was toeing the line between sober and buzzed. And buzzed almost always led to drunk, which was not something she wanted to be right now. She abruptly got up and walked to one side of the boat, staring out into the horizon. It had an almost hypnotic effect on her.

Jake drank his glass clean and yet only felt vaguely light headed. He was about to pour himself another glass, when he watched Amelia stand up and go out on deck. Scowling; he set the bottle back down on the table, so he could go after her. He hoped he hadn’t done anything to upset her. After all, it had been a while since he had actually spent real time with a girl instead of just fast forwarding to other things. He quite liked spending time with Amelia. She was somewhat cynical and dangerously sassy- but she was unique and he liked that.

He walked out on deck after her and stood beside her. Jack rested his elbows on the side of the ship and leaned over. “It’s a beautiful day, isn’t it?” He added carelessly while admiring the glimmer of the sun on the waves. Concerned, he turned to her, “Are you alright? I hope I didn’t upset you.. you just got up so abruptly.”

Jessie was so taken in by her surroundings, she hadn’t noticed the boy only steps in front of her. “Oh no, it’s my fault. I was just being oblivious.” She stifled a laugh at how apologetic the boy was being. Although, he did seem friendly enough, so she extended her hand into his. “Nice to meet you Captain. My name’s Jessie.” She smiled politely.

Jake shook her hand enthusiastically. He smiled when she called him ‘Captain’. Most people ignored his title and would only call him Jake unless asked to call him by something else. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Jessie. Though, it definitely was my fault. I was distracted.”

Amelia got herself onto Jake’s boat and looked around. It was surprisingly more well-kept than she would have expected from him. Even though he treated his liver like shit, his boat had the right balance between rugged messiness and the organization that was needed to run a ship. “Is this where you, like, live?” She asked, albeit a bit pathetically. She really didn’t know much about Jake, but here she was, alone where no one could probably find them. If he was dangerous, this would end up as a very bad situation. But for some reason, she didn’t think it was going to end up that way.

He shook his head, “No, I have an apartment..” Jake licked his lips, concentrating on straightening some papers on his desk. He liked to keep his desk organized. A good captain had to be organized since running a ship was a lot more than just calling yourself a captain. “I do spend most of my time here, though. My apartment isn’t much to look at.” He eyed his cabin proudly. “You can sit, if you’d like. I wouldn’t be a gentleman if I made you stand.” Jake pushed a chair out from underneath his desk for her and made a motion for her to sit. He went to one of his cabinets and took out two glasses and a bottle of tequila. “I like my rum, but I’m in the mood for something different. I am a changed man, as it seems anyways.” Looking at her, he smirked.  Jake poured a glass of tequila for her and gave it to her. Sitting down in a seat opposite from her, he poured a glass for himself. “Cheers, love.”

He smiled. She didn’t look at him strangely, she was very friendly. He shook her hand, “Why it’s a pleasure to meet ya then, Jessie.” Jake looked at her curiously, “I must say, I haven’t seen you around before- then again you probably ‘aven’t seen me around either.” He laughed.

@Jessie

The day was certainly warm even for May in Georgia which added to Jake’s miserable haze he had been in. Ever since he had come to the knowledge that he previously had been a much older man, things didn’t make much sense. He dreaded going back to the crew of his ship. Although he had the knowledge and access to all of the documents to prove he was in fact Captain Jake Sparrow, he certainly no longer looked the same. What if people ended up thinking the real Jake Sparrow had disappeared? What if they thought this Jake Sparrow was insane? Losing his ship.. his crew.. those were things he could not live with. Not for a second time.

In his frustration, Jake hardly noticed the girl standing in front of him as he bumped into her. Immediately, his trance was broken. He slapped his forehead, “I’m so sorry.. I’m a real idiot, I’m sorry.” He examined her. She was certainly not a familiar face. He extended his hand to her, “I was a bit distracted, my apologies miss. My name’s Captain Jake Sparrow.”

The Amelia/Jake Aging Adventure.

amyfitzy:

“Please,” Amelia said, rolling her eyes. “You’ve been a drunkard long enough to make the slightest bit of sense even when you have had a bit of rum. And do you not remember how you looked at me? You were acting like you’d be a predator to dare do it with me. That’s because you would have been seen as one. Because you were old. But now you’re not, so I suggest you accept the miracle that has happened and deal with it.

“People have always judged you, but they at least acknowledged you. And what do you mean, I’m staring at you weird? I’m looking at you with new eyes. Because this is the first time I’ve seen you young.”

Amelia put her head down on the table, frustrated as ever. “You didn’t need a fake ID,” She whined, resisting the urge to bang her fists on the table like a child. “You were of age…”

She got her head back up and pushed her hair behind her ears. “Forget it,” She conceded, “You obviously don’t remember anything about being thirty, and I don’t remember you being eighteen. Let’s just forget about it, okay? Shit happens. When people ask, we’ll chalk it up to a trick of the light or whatever. I say we go back to your boat and hang out. Not necessarily have sex, just hang out. It’s socially acceptable now, and I’d rather not be surrounded by gyrating sweaty people.”

He was beginning to give in to her insistence that he had previously been much older. Jake raised his hands defensively, trying to calm her. “Okay, okay- I don’t remember much of this.. I don’t remember being even a day older than I am now but I believe you.. stranger things have happened.”

Jake rested his head on his forehead. This was all too confusing and it was exhausting him. “Yes, I don’t want to be here anymore.. haven’t actually got the appetite for rum right now. To my boat it is.” He stood up, and took her by the arm. “This way, Amelia.” He then led her through the town, ignoring all the strange glances he received. Jake led her through the docks and onto his ship which was empty at this time. Nobody seemed to notice the two of them get onto the ship though a mist the hustle and bustle of the workers at the dock. Reaching into his pocket, he took out his keys to his captain’s quarters. He extended a hand to her and allowed her entry. “Here you are then.”
